Harder edged remix of this classic track, experimenting with what was at the time Viewpoint Studios' latest new gear
(a Yamaha RM1x sequence remixer). The original Freeform Radio Mix was deconstructed and pieced back together on the new
Yamaha RM1x sequence remixer, as a means of testing out the potential of this dance music making tool. The song was cut up
into 16 individual patterns, which are looped and can be triggered at will, with the distinctive acid sound being manipulated
and distorted using the RM1x's realtime controllers. The track was recorded and mixed live "on the fly" straight to
CD, originally weighing in at twelve minutes long. After some extensive editing (to remove the less successful experimental
parts of the track) this seven minute version of 'Misery Men' was complete!
