Solid beats abound in this intense club anthem, with a synth riff that compels you to the dancefloor, and Scott's improvised MCing! Mixed on the 17 October, 2000, 'Misery Men' features elements and breaks from a 1997 uncompleted demo originally entitled 'Misery Man', which featured a more song-based structure and lyrics by Scott (which were eventually rejected by the band in favour of the "Mic Controller" theme).
